Legacy Roofing Pros believe in giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. We were honored to participate in the Austin Marathon on February 16, 2025, in Austin, TX, as a proud partner of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT).
For over a decade, DSACT has been an official charity partner of the Austin Marathon through the Austin Marathon Gives program. This year, we proudly joined their efforts by staffing a hydration and aid station at mile 21—a number chosen in recognition of Trisomy 21, the genetic condition that characterizes individuals with Down syndrome. Alongside DSACT, we distributed water, placed impact signage, and cheered on marathon participants as they pushed toward their personal milestones. It was an inspiring event that fostered a strong sense of community and raised awareness about Down syndrome, uniting the broader Central Texas community in support and celebration.
For Legacy Roofing Pros, this cause is deeply personal. Our beloved granddaughter, Gabby, is part of the Down syndrome community, and she is our greatest blessing. Supporting DSACT and its mission means more than just giving back—it is about advocating for inclusion, awareness, and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome. We are honored to stand alongside DSACT in this effort, using our platform to raise awareness and contribute to meaningful change.
We want our commitment to extend beyond race day.
